Ingrid’s Originals Inc.
Researching the ancient global rock writings known as petroglyphs and pictographs and then incorporating them into her paintings has been Ingrid’s passion. In search of these endangered images, her travels have taken her to Australia, Africa, China, Europe, and many areas of the U.S.A. She uses her hand made paper and textural surfaces to recreate the excitement and emotional response felt when one discovers these illusive ancient images in the field. She also enjoys painting traditional loose expressive paintings in watercolors, and teaches classes and workshops out of her new studio.

Jezebelly
Jezebelly performs tribal bellydance ~ incorporating music, movement, and costume from throughout the gypsy diaspora. Our performances are primarily improvised, and feature veil, sword balancing, and floorwork. Each dance is created in the moment, punctuated by choreographed flourishes. The members of Jezebelly have been performing throughout the Chicago area since 2000. Jezebelly is also pleased to present our junior troupe, BellyRing.

Kelly Bennett

Kevin’s photography falls into four broad categories. The first is landscapes. These are either industrial or travel images. The second is bodyscapes. These are principally female forms. Lincoln Square Pottery Studio
The 2,000-square-foot Lincoln Square Pottery Studio-Learning Center opened in May of 2003. Twelve wheel-throwing workstations, two high-fire electric kilns, opportunities for other types of firings with field trips in Raku, wood fire, pit and sager firing, and a multitude of studio classes for all levels. Patricia works primarily in high quality oil painting and mediums as well as Sumi-e ink. Her work is influenced by Sumi-e painting, the focus being the process: preparing her palette, tools and vision of the canvas. Each mark of her brush meets the canvas as an extension of her state of mind. Flowers, she paint wet into wet to capture the immediacy of the bloom-many times sculpting with a palate knife. Landscapes and portraits develop through many layers of transparent paint to achieve vibrant color effects. Finishing with a glaze to give the surface a consistent sheen.
