RAWednesdays
November 10, 7-9 PM
Our November RAWedensday is scheduled for November 10th from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Bill Bartelt’s working studio at 4659 North Ravenswood Avenue located on the east side of the tracks at Leland. Bill started his artistic career as a set designer for theatrical and television productions. Several years ago he studied with the late Master Irving Shapiro at the American Academy of Art. Since that time, he now specializes in watercolor. He has taught many of the RAW artists and offers classes on specific techniques such as painting with a limited pallet. His paintings of urban Chicago scenes has won him several awards and he has appeared on Channel 11’s Artbeat and Chicago Tonight.
The November RAWednesday will be a salon style meeting and we are encouraging all artists to send up to 5 images in jpeg format to MAKAdesigns@aol.com. Please send your images no later than MONDAY November 8th to be included in the discussion.
Refreshments will be served. A $5.00 donation is suggested to cover our expenses.

RAWednesdays are FREE and open to the public to develop a network for artists and businesses located in the Ravenswood Corridor. Our goal is to bring people together to foster dialogs, exchange information, and to create a greater sense of community. Most importantly, the goal is to inform the general public of the unique diversity of the arts and industry that exists in Ravenswood.
